I created this 3D model of a ship cannon for an indie game. The project involved designing the overall shape, adding realistic details, and applying textures and materials to achieve a high level of visual fidelity. I focused on making sure the model fits naturally into a game environment while maintaining both style and realism. Every element was crafted to enhance immersion and complement the game’s aesthetic.

The project began with modeling the cannons in Blender, ensuring that each piece was historically accurate while keeping the geometry optimized for real-time use. Texturing was done in Substance Painter, with attention to realistic metal, wood, and wear details to give the cannons an authentic aged look.

For the renders, I built an environment and lighting setup in Blender, carefully crafting light and shadow to enhance the materials and create a believable scene. Final touches, including color adjustments and contrast refinement, were applied in Lightroom to produce polished images suitable for presentation or portfolio display.
